St. Matthias Church Recognizes SSND

St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church held a special mass of recognition to honor the School Sisters of Notre Dame on Sunday, September 21. The order of nuns has staffed St. Matthias School on Catalpa Avenue since 1910. Among the sisters pictured outside the church eight currently live/work at St. Matthias. Last Sunday's event, which included a luncheon following the mass, was sponsored by the St. Matthias Centennial Committee.
