This week, Christians all over the world celebrate the Triduum, recalling the suffering, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Throughout the season of Lent, we were reminded of the suffering of Christ in our world: massive earthquakes, gun violence, racism, abuse, the wars in Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan and the cries of the Earth. With the coming of Easter Sunday, the darkness of the world is broken by the light and joy of Easter. Our faith assures us that the stone of the tomb will be rolled away and the light that shines forth will herald the Risen Christ. May the light of Christ transform our lives and bring healing to our world. May the blessings of Easter bring joy to our hearts.
