School Sisters of Notre Dame continue to live the vision of Foundress Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger in a variety of ways. Below our Sisters share stories of their work and ministry.
Sisters Stories
My name is Sister Joan Pikiell and I am a School Sister of Notre Dame in my third year of Temporary Profession.
Sister Kathleen Feeley was presented with the Monsignor Arthur F. Valenzano Joyful Servant Award by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This award in the form of a beautiful statue of St. Francis of Assisi was given in memory of the Monsignor Art.
We are sharing reflections from our sisters who live in Florida and experienced Hurricane Irma. Thank you to Sister Danielle Amspacher for sharing. She rode out the storm in St. Petersburg and it was several days before she was able to return home to her apartment.
Celebrating Jubilee!
Celebrating Jubilee!
Each year, we honor and celebrate our sister Jubilarians. Jubilee is a special time to rejoice with our Sisters as they celebrate their 25, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, or 80 years of faithful love and service to God.
Learn about this year's Jubilarians
We go forth daily in the spirit of Mother Theresa, remembering her words: "Poor and abandoned, we began the work of God in supernatural faith and confidence... let us continue to serve the Triune God all our Lives with Joy."
