Despite its name, Ordinary Time is far from ordinary. Lasting from now until Advent, it carries us through the rest of the summer, from swim season to the start of the new school year and apple-picking to pumpkin-carving.
"There's no such thing as ordinary time," Sister Therese Feeley, SSND, says. "Each and every day offers countless opportunities for those who live deliberatively."
Sister Pat Hogan, SSND, says her daily Ordinary Time practices include praying the rosary, reading YAS, and talking to other Sisters about God.
Sister Maria Felipe Lopez, SSND, says she greets each morning intentionally, by praying the Sign of the Cross and thanking God for the new day.
Over the coming weeks, we will share some of your Ordinary Time practices and reflections.
