Despite its name, Ordinary Time is far from ordinary. Lasting from now until Advent, it carries us through the rest of the summer, from swim season to the start of the new school year and apple-picking to pumpkin-carving. Join us as we share Sisters Ordinary Time practices and reflections.

“May the Lord of the vineyard give growth so that what his love has called into being may bear blessed fruit in its time.” (Bl. Theresa Gerhardinger, Letter 3339, March 15, 1862)
In Mexico in 1531, Spanish forces had violently taken over the land and oppressed the indigenous people there. It is in this context that the Blessed Mother appeared and chose a poor, indigenous man to bring her message of compassion and peace to his nation and all the world.
On October 14, our province celebrates Canadian Thanksgiving Day with our sisters, associates, and staff in Canada. We give God praise and thanks for all we have received and pray in gratitude for the abundant blessings bestowed upon us, our family, friends, and congregation.

With hope and peace, we enter into the joy of the Lord!
